Heartfelt Connections Documented through Timeless, Heirloom Artwork

As the saying goes: Home is where the heart is: our hearts walk around outside of our bodies in our children. We plan for them, nourish them, snuggle them, kiss all the boo boos and love them with our whole hearts. We watch them grow day by day. Hit new milestones and learn new things. We read to them, dance with them, sing with them and tuck them into bed.

My goal is to customize your session in such a way that you can relax and enjoy the process knowing I have your child’s safety and your unique preferences in mind.

I am so excited to document your families honest connections in the tiniest details with timeless and classic portraits hung on our walls ready to pass down for generations to treasure.

Welcome!

Hello! Samantha here! I am the owner of Miracle Kisses Photography, wife and mother to 4 children with large personalities. My youngest was just born this past August and his siblings think he is the best thing ever to come into our home.

I have specialized in newborn and motherhood photography since my oldest was born 8 years ago. She was my first newborn client. And while her images could be improved, I have devoted the past 8 years to perfecting the newborn portrait craft from safetly to posing, designing the session and how to accomplish a perfect mix of lifestyle and posed images with the newborn session.

Motherhood, with the emphasis of breastfeeding came naturally as I wanted to document our moments together. It has become my goal in life to get mothers in front of the camera, and give their children beautifully crafted, heartfelt images with their mommies. Click here to Learn more about me.

My Work

Your Babies Safety

As a newborn photography specialist based in Tulsa, your babies safety is my number one priority. Over the last 8 years, I have taken several in person workshops and online courses for baby safety.

There are some poses I do not offer for safety reasons. Other poses, I have learned how to accomplish in the safest may possible such as keeping your baby on a flat surface and making it look like they are on the wall, such as shelf or swing images. Further poses, such as their head in their little hands or hanging in props should always be what is called a composite image. This means I take more than one image, while baby is fully supported the entire time and edit them together for the final image.

Baby safety does not end at the poses I offer. Every prop is cleaned and sanitized with baby safe cleaning agents, primarily a vinegar solution, between each and every single use. I do wash my hands both before you arrive, or once I arrive in your home for an in home newborn session, and again before I start to position your newborn for a photo, as well as using hand sanitizer throughout. Your newborns safety is always top of my mind.

A little about the experience

Specializing in newborn and motherhood portraits - with an emphasis on breastfeeding - for 8 years, my goal is to safely document the bond you have with your children through the honest moments you share.

When you book your newborn or motherhood photo experience with me, I want you to be able to focus what matters most to you, your family. To make the process as carefree as possible, once you have booked, I will walk you through each detail of your session.

1. We start with a consult over the phone or zoom to discuss your goals and wishes for your dream session. We discuss what to wear - including the complimentary option of my fully curated client wardrobe, the perfect location to tell your family’s story. and any props you might want to include. I love including keepsakes into your session! We also discuss where you would like to have your session. I offer in studio, in home and outdoor locations (weather permitting).

2. The day of your session, I walk you through each bit with your babies safely and your comfort in mind through light posing and simple directions.

3. About a week later, we will meet over zoom or in person to showcase your lightly edited images. This is where you will choose your favorite images and purchase any products for your home and loved ones.

4. Finally, I will hand edit each image, order from the finest museum quality professional labs and hire professionals to hang your finished heirlooms on your walls.

5. It doesn’t have to end there, we will then discuss your entry into the Grow with me Plan - documenting your journey with your new baby for their first year of life and beyond.

I’ve got you covered. Relax and enjoy your littles.
